Aalyn Cribb Obituary, Death – A fatal incident occurred in Georgetown County on Monday when a truck struck a tree, resulting in the death of a man. According to Master Trooper Gary Miller of the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident took place shortly before 3:30 p.m.
The 1994 Chevrolet pickup was traveling north on Squirrel Run Road, close to Douglas Lane, when it collided with the tree. Miller confirmed that the truck’s driver was the sole occupant and succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
The driver was later identified by Georgetown County Coroner Chase Ridgeway as 72-year-old Aalyn Cribb from Hemingway.
