The individual who was fatally shot in the Rose City Park Neighborhood of Northeast Portland on Sunday night has been named. Authorities reported that police officers arrived at the scene on Northeast 55th Avenue and Hassalo Street at approximately 11:30 p.m. and discovered Aaron McInnis, aged 30, with severe injuries.
McInnis was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after, as stated by officials. The Medical Examiner determined that his cause of death was due to gunshot wounds in a homicide.
As of now, no suspects have been apprehended.
