Aiden Martin, Emmaleigh Arnold Obituary, Death – A tragic multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 40 in Shawnee claimed the lives of two Cleveland County residents Friday evening. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), the crash, which involved five vehicles, including a semi-trailer, occurred around 5:45 p.m. in the westbound lanes near mile marker 182.
Authorities identified the victims as 22-year-old Aiden Martin of Norman and 21-year-old Emmaleigh Arnold of Moore. Both were passengers in a Kia Forte and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other individuals, including the Kia Forte’s driver, sustained injuries in the crash. The driver was treated at a hospital and later released, while two other drivers involved in the accident were taken to OU Health, where they were admitted in good condition.
Investigators are still working to determine the exact circumstances that led to the fatal collision.
