Alexa White Obituary, Death – Police have identified the victim of a deadly multi-vehicle crash that occurred on Interstate 35 in Round Rock on Monday. Authorities confirmed that 35-year-old Alexa White, a resident of Fort Cavazos, was killed in the massive collision.
The accident took place around 11:40 a.m. near RM 620, causing significant traffic disruptions. White was pronounced dead at the scene, while three others sustained minor injuries and were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

A preliminary investigation suggests that the accident began when a northbound vehicle made a sudden lane change, colliding with another car and triggering a chain reaction. This series of collisions forced a dump truck to veer across the concrete median and into southbound traffic, exacerbating the severity of the crash.
One of the drivers involved, Juan Vazquez, described the harrowing experience, expressing shock and disbelief at witnessing such a devastating accident. “It’s a terrible situation, especially because you’re not expecting to be involved in an accident and then seeing someone lose their life,” he said.
Recent Deadly Crashes on I-35
This tragic incident marks the second major pileup on the I-35 corridor in less than two weeks. Earlier this month, an 18-vehicle crash in North Austin claimed the lives of five people, highlighting the ongoing dangers on the busy interstate.
Following Monday’s crash, authorities closed both northbound and southbound lanes of I-35 to clear the wreckage and investigate the scene. By 5:30 p.m., all lanes had been reopened, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
