Alexander Garcia-Avalos Obituary, Death – Early Sunday morning, August 4th, a man died in a single-vehicle accident in Tucson. Tucson Police were called to the scene of the crash at around 12:44 a.m., located at the intersection of W. Prince Rd. and N. Business Center Dr. Upon arrival, officers found the driver of a black 2017 Nissan Altima deceased. The driver has been identified as 32-year-old Alexander Garcia-Avalos. His family has been informed of the tragic news.
The investigation revealed that Garcia-Avalos was traveling westbound on Prince Road at high speed when he failed to stop for a stop sign at a T-intersection. His vehicle struck a block wall on the west side of the intersection. Detectives observed that Garcia-Avalos was not wearing his seatbelt and was driving without his headlights on. Additionally, open alcohol containers were found in the vehicle.
Tucson Police mentioned that any potential impairment of Garcia-Avalos will be further assessed through medical records. The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
