Eloy police reported that just after 4 p.m. on Friday, emergency responders, including fire crews and police, were dispatched following reports of a “parachutist experiencing complications during descent.” Upon arrival, responders located the parachutist, identified as 55-year-old Ann Wick of Minnesota, and immediately attempted life-saving measures. Unfortunately, Wick was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the accident.
