Antoine Clay Obituary, Death – A shooting incident in Lexington has resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries. The Lexington Police Department reported that the event occurred at approximately 12:20 a.m. on Friday in the 700 block of National Avenue, situated just east of the downtown area.
Upon arrival, officers discovered six individuals who had sustained gunshot wounds, all of whom were subsequently transported to a nearby hospital. Tragically, one man succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, identified by the coroner’s office as 31-year-old Antoine Clay, according to our CBS affiliate WKYT.
The remaining five victims are receiving treatment for injuries that are not considered life-threatening, as reported by WKYT. The Lexington police are currently conducting an investigation, and at this time, no suspects have been identified.
