Antoine Mourning Obituary, Death – Kansas City, Kansas, police have identified the pedestrian who was fatally struck by a vehicle last Friday evening.
Authorities confirmed that 34-year-old Antoine Mourning was killed in the crash, which occurred around 6:45 p.m. on February 28 in the 5700 block of Georgia Avenue.
According to the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department (KCKPD), Mourning was struck by a westbound vehicle. The driver involved in the collision remained at the scene, and emergency responders pronounced Mourning dead upon arrival.
KCKPD has launched an investigation into the crash to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. No further details have been released at this time.
