Antonio Williams, Terrell Osbourne, Jr Obituary, Death – Police name 2 victims in Northeast DC quadruple shooting – Washington, D.C. police have released the names of the two men who were fatally shot in a violent incident early Saturday morning in the NoMa area. The shooting occurred around 1 a.m. in the unit block of M Street, NE. The deceased victims have been identified as 33-year-old Antonio Williams from Capitol Heights, Maryland, and 18-year-old Terrell Osbourne, Jr. from Northwest D.C. Both men were declared dead at the scene.
In addition to the fatalities, two other individuals—a man and a woman—sustained gunshot wounds and were taken to nearby hospitals. Their injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Later that evening, police released surveillance camera footage of a vehicle they believe was involved in the shooting. The car, which is suspected to be a 2019 white Honda Accord, may have been connected to the suspects.
A visitor to D.C. staying with a friend in the neighborhood reported hearing an altercation followed by numerous gunshots. The witness described the sounds as a series of “popping” noises, estimating around 15 to 20 shots. Initially, the visitor thought the sounds might be related to a police standoff, but the subsequent arrival of police suggested it was a confrontation between two groups.
The friend of the visitor, who recently moved to the area, said she slept through the incident and was unaware of the gunfire. She mentioned that her parents had expressed safety concerns when they first visited, based on prior reports of crime in the neighborhood. Despite this, the parents felt more secure after seeing the area firsthand. The recent shooting has raised some concerns for her, but she does not feel it indicates a widespread safety issue.
In response to the shooting, D.C. police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for each victim, totaling a possible $50,000, for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
