Armando Gabriel Obituary, Death – A 68-year-old man from Los Angeles lost his life due to a road rage incident that ensued after a minor collision in a West Hollywood parking lot, according to officials. The altercation began around 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday when two individuals were reportedly involved in a “minor traffic collision” at a convenience store in the 7900 block of West Santa Monica Boulevard.
Following the collision, a confrontation erupted, during which one man assaulted the other, rendering him unconscious, as stated by sheriff’s deputies. Upon the arrival of paramedics, they discovered the victim, later identified as Armando Gabriel, 68, lying unconscious on the sidewalk in front of the store. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
Deputies apprehended the other individual, Ramon Casas, 48, from Bell Gardens, who was later arrested and charged with murder.
Casas is currently being held on a $2 million bail and is anticipated to make his initial court appearance on Thursday.
