Austin Grigsby Obituary, Death – On the evening of Friday, August 9, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office received a report regarding a vehicular accident in the Town of Schroeppel.
Upon investigation, authorities determined that a 2016 Kawasaki motorcycle was travelling southbound on State Route 481 at an excessive speed when the operator, identified as 22-year-old Austin Grigsby from Baldwinsville, lost control and collided with the guard rail while navigating the off-ramp at exit 14.
Despite the efforts of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Medical Services to perform life-saving procedures, Grigsby was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.
