Bradley Tribble Obituary, Death – Bradley “Ty” Tribble, a 31-year-old man from Llano, was found deceased near the Llano River on Wednesday morning after being reported missing several days earlier. The Llano County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) confirmed the discovery of his body on March 29, which was the day his family notified authorities about his disappearance. Following the report, the Llano Police Department (LPD) issued a missing persons alert, including a description of Tribble.
Tribble’s family, friends, and several law enforcement agencies, including LCSO, LPD, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens, Texas Highway Patrol, and the Llano Volunteer Fire Department, joined in the search efforts over the weekend. They focused on the area near the Highway 16 bridge, downstream of the Llano River. The search efforts extended across the riverbed, the railroad tracks, and surrounding locations. Volunteers used various resources, such as K9 teams, drones, and even a helicopter from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, but the search yielded no results.
The search continued into the following week, with law enforcement following leads and reported sightings of Tribble in nearby areas. However, it wasn’t until Wednesday, around 9 a.m., when teams from Texas Equusearch, a nonprofit search and recovery group, resumed their search along the Llano River. During this second round of searches, a volunteer from the group found Tribble’s body on the river’s north side.
Authorities from the LCSO and LPD were quickly dispatched to the scene, and the Justice of the Peace and district attorney’s office were notified. An inquest investigation was conducted by Justice of the Peace Judge Lisa Simpson, and an autopsy was ordered through the Travis County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.
The LCSO extended their condolences to Tribble’s family and confirmed that the investigation was ongoing as of Thursday. The authorities are working to uncover more details surrounding his death.
