Brian Collins Obituary, Death – A man was fatally shot in what Daytona Beach police are describing as a road rage incident outside a McDonald’s on LPGA Blvd. The shooting occurred on Sunday evening around 8 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman administering CPR to a man who had been shot. Nearby, a man approached the officers and confessed to being the shooter.
Preliminary details indicate that the shooting was the result of a road rage confrontation that began in the McDonald’s drive-thru lane. The altercation continued into the parking lot, where the shooter claimed he fired his weapon out of fear for his safety. The victim, identified as 30-year-old Brian Collins, was declared dead at the scene.
