Brookelynn Fetters Obituary, Death – A 34-year-old woman has lost her life following a wrong-way incident on Interstate 84 in Multnomah County, as reported by the Oregon State Police. Authorities identified the deceased as Brookelynn Fetters from Gresham, who was operating a Kia Rio in a westbound direction within the eastbound lanes near Milepost 37 at approximately noon on Monday.
The investigation revealed that Fetters’ vehicle collided with an eastbound BMW before continuing in the wrong direction. The BMW attempted to execute a U-turn but was subsequently struck on the passenger side by an eastbound commercial motor vehicle.
Officials stated that the impact caused the Kia to be pushed into another commercial vehicle that was stationary on the roadside. Fetters was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Fortunately, no other drivers sustained injuries in the incident.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
