Cameron Shaefer Obituary, Death – A 22-year-old resident of Dickeyville was declared deceased on Saturday morning due to injuries sustained in a collision that occurred in Grant County the previous Sunday, as reported by the sheriff’s office. Cameron Shaefer was operating his 2021 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on Highway 61 in Potosi when a GMC Sierra truck, which failed to yield at the stop sign at the County B intersection, struck him, according to officials.
Authorities indicated that both Shaefer and his 23-year-old passenger suffered severe injuries and were subsequently transported to the hospital. The 17-year-old driver of the truck, along with his passenger, did not sustain any injuries. Shaefer succumbed to his injuries six days later.
