Christopher Kuehl Obituary, Death – The Franklin County Coroner has disclosed the identity of a man who was fatally struck by two vehicles in the Hilltop area, one of which reportedly left the scene. Christopher Kuehl, aged 45, was pronounced dead at 5:31 p.m. on Saturday at the location of the incident, which occurred at the intersection of Sullivant Avenue and Atlanta Drive.
According to police reports, Kuehl was in the process of crossing Sullivant Avenue between Atlanta Drive and Dixie Court when he was hit by a Honda Pilot traveling east in the left lane.
Subsequently, another vehicle, identified as a Jeep Cherokee, collided with Kuehl a second time as he fell into the right lane of Sullivant Avenue. Authorities noted that the driver of the Jeep remained at the scene, while the driver of the Honda Pilot fled eastward.
The Columbus Division of Police Accident Investigation Unit is currently examining the circumstances surrounding the crash and is actively searching for a bluish Honda Pilot that has sustained damage to its right front. No suspects have been publicly identified at this time.
