As the investigation continued, law enforcement issued an alert for a Toyota Tacoma believed to be associated with the shooting. Shortly thereafter, an officer located the vehicle at the intersection of Avery and Norbeck Roads. During a traffic stop, officers heard a gunshot emanating from within the vehicle. Upon approaching the truck, they found 53-year-old Dario Villard with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Villard was also transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead.
