Cruz Lorenzo Obituary, Death – Authorities in Des Moines have released the identity of a man who was fatally shot last Friday. The victim, identified as 25-year-old Armando Cruz Lorenzo, was found with a gunshot wound after police responded to reports of gunfire in the 800 block of Maury Street around 5 p.m.
According to a statement from the Des Moines Police Department, officers arrived at the scene and located Cruz Lorenzo, who was unresponsive. Emergency responders declared him dead at the scene.
