Daniel Stober Obituary, Death – A resident of Hull was tragically killed after being struck by an SUV in North Attleborough on Sunday morning, as reported by the office of Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III.
At approximately 9:24 a.m. on Sunday, North Attleborough police were notified of a pedestrian accident at 178 Commonwealth Ave. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 62-year-old man and promptly transported him to Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, according to the statement from Quinn’s office.
The individual, later identified as Daniel Stober, was subsequently airlifted to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased approximately two hours following the incident, as stated by Quinn’s office.
Stober was struck by a 2013 GMC Acadia operated by a 24-year-old man from Attleboro, who remained at the scene. This individual, whose identity has not been disclosed, also attempted to render medical assistance to Stober.
Authorities conducted an interview with the driver and did not take him into custody.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident is currently underway, as indicated by Quinn’s office.
