Dennis Hall Obituary, Death – A tragic incident occurred in Ogallala, Nebraska, involving 72-year-old Dennis Hall, who was killed while changing a flat tire on the side of the road. The Nebraska State Patrol is seeking public assistance to find the vehicle involved in this fatal hit-and-run.
On a Thursday evening, authorities received a 911 call reporting a hit-and-run accident on Interstate 80, west of Big Springs. When troopers arrived at the scene, they found Hall’s body outside a Lincoln Town Car, which was parked on the shoulder with a flat tire. It appeared that Hall was struck by a passing vehicle while he was working on the tire.
Witnesses saw a vehicle fleeing the scene and reported that a semi – truck was likely involved. Although there was no detailed description of the vehicle, it is believed that the semi-truck may have damage on its front passenger side.
Despite a thorough search of truck parking areas, the Nebraska State Patrol has not yet located the truck involved. They are calling on anyone with information about the hit-and-run to contact them at 308-632-1211.
