Donald Markle Obituary, Death – A 63-year-old motorist has died following an incident in which he reportedly veered off the road and collided with a tree on Monday evening. The collision occurred at approximately 7:56 p.m. at the intersection of East Canal Road and Greenbriar Road. Witnesses informed the Northern York County Regional Police that the driver left the roadway on the right side before impacting the tree.
Several bystanders attempted to administer CPR to the motorcyclist, identified as Donald Markle from North York, in an effort to save his life until emergency medical services arrived. Markle was subsequently transported to WellSpan York Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
