Ebinson Jonael Cordova Ramirez, Syed Sulman Haider Obituary, Death – Authorities have confirmed the identities of both drivers who tragically lost their lives in a head-on collision in Tye. Ebinson Jonael Cordova Ramirez, hailing from Portales, New Mexico, and Syed Sulman Haider, from Conroe, Texas, were both declared deceased at the scene of the accident on I-20, near mile marker 278, early Sunday morning.
According to investigators, Ramirez mistakenly entered the highway from the off-ramp and proceeded to drive westbound in the eastbound lanes, ultimately colliding head-on with Haider’s truck. Additionally, two other vehicles were involved in the incident; however, no injuries were reported from those vehicles.
Initial reports indicated that alcohol may have played a role in this tragic accident, but authorities are currently awaiting blood test results to confirm this information.
