Edwin Noel Diaz Obituary, Death – An individual from Allentown lost his life following an accident on Interstate 78 in Lehigh County on Thursday night, as reported by officials.
Coroner Daniel A. Buglio stated in a press release that 21-year-old Edwin Noel Diaz succumbed to his injuries after the incident occurred on the eastbound side of I-78, near mile marker 78 in Upper Saucon Township.
According to the release, Diaz was operating a vehicle that left the roadway and fell onto the interstate below. The accident took place around 8:20 p.m. He was subsequently transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, where he passed away from his injuries early Friday morning.
The state police are currently conducting an investigation into the accident.
