Elizabeth L. Mitchell Obituary, Death – A woman has lost her life following a single-vehicle accident that occurred on Friday afternoon, as reported by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. At approximately 5:15 p.m., Elizabeth L. Mitchell, 57, from Lowndesboro, was driving on Old Selma Road when her vehicle veered off the roadway, struck a sign, re-entered the road, and subsequently overturned.
At the time of the incident, Mitchell was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. She was declared deceased at the scene. The accident took place near Cantelou Road, approximately two miles west of Montgomery.
