Gregory Napier Obituary, Death – A person was killed early Tuesday morning in a hit-and-run accident on Werk Road in Westwood, Cincinnati. The incident was reported around 2:30 a.m., near Mayridge Court. The police quickly arrived on the scene, where they found the victim, who was later identified as Gregory Napier, a 37-year-old from Cincinnati.
The crash led to the closure of Werk Road between Queen City Avenue and Boudinot Avenue, but the road has since reopened. Authorities from Cincinnati Police District 3 have taken over the investigation into the fatal incident.
Emergency responders performed life-saving measures at the scene, but the victim was unfortunately pronounced dead at the site of the crash. The victim’s identity was confirmed later Tuesday morning by the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office.
At this time, police have little information on the vehicle involved in the incident. Authorities have not been able to provide a specific description of the car, other than the fact that it will have significant front-end damage due to the collision.
Cincinnati Police are urging anyone with information regarding the hit-and-run to come forward to assist in their ongoing investigation.
