Hajira Begum, Abdul Rahman Obituary, Death – A tragic accident in Shadnagar on Sunday evening resulted in the death of 35-year-old Hajira Begum and her 12-year-old son, Abdul Rahman, following a collision involving a bus and their two-wheeler. The family, originally from Chandrayangutta in Hyderabad’s Old City, was en route to a shrine in Shadnagar when the incident occurred. Their younger son, Abdul Rahim, sustained injuries and is receiving medical care.
Nandigama Inspector Prasad reported that the accident happened near Rangapur. Hajira Begum was attempting to overtake a car when her two-wheeler collided with a TGSRTC bus traveling in the opposite direction. The collision proved fatal for both the mother and son. Authorities have filed a case under BNS Section 106 (1) for death due to negligence as they continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the accident.
