Jack Baron Yarborough Obituary, Death – The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the individual involved in an auto-pedestrian accident in Moncks Corner. Jack Baron Yarborough, a 62-year-old homeless man, was the pedestrian who tragically lost his life in the incident that occurred on Saturday morning.
The Moncks Corner Police Department received a call regarding the collision at approximately 5:23 a.m., which took place on North Highway 52, directly in front of Zaxby’s located at 507 North Highway 52.
Initial investigations suggest that a driver traveling southbound on North Highway 52 struck the pedestrian as he was crossing the road in front of the Zaxby’s establishment, as reported by the Moncks Corner Police Department on Saturday morning.
The pedestrian was declared deceased at the scene, and there were no other injuries reported as a result of the accident.
Both the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the Moncks Corner Police Department are currently treating this incident as an accident and are conducting an investigation.
