Jashaun Cheatom Obituary, Death – A tragic shooting in southeast Oklahoma City late Sunday night resulted in the death of a 16-year-old boy, authorities confirmed. The incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. when police received reports of gunfire in the area of Southeast 46th Street near Sunnylane Road. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered the teenage victim lying in a breezeway outside an apartment complex.
Emergency responders quickly transported the victim to a nearby hospital, but despite medical efforts, he did not survive. The Oklahoma City Police Department later identified the deceased as 16-year-old Jashaun Cheatom.
As of now, investigators have not determined the motive behind the shooting, and no arrests have been made. Authorities are continuing their investigation, seeking any leads that might provide insight into what led to the fatal incident.
