Jason Collins Obituary, Death – A 52-year-old individual has lost his life following a collision involving three vehicles in Whitney. According to Police Chief Kyle Nevil, officers were dispatched to the significant accident occurring in the 800 block of E. Jefferson Street at around 5:11 p.m. on Monday. The incident involved three vehicles, including a motorcycle.
The motorcycle was occupied by a sole rider who was declared deceased at the scene. The deceased has been identified as Jason Collins, a resident of Whitney. There have been no reports of additional injuries.
Assistance at the scene was provided by the Texas Highway Patrol, Hill County Sheriff’s Office, Whitney Fire Department, and EMS.
