Jean Revil Obituary – A man was critically injured and a woman lost her life after being struck by a truck while they were collecting a donated dresser in Fall River, Massachusetts on Wednesday. The victims, along with the driver of the box truck, were all associated with a nonprofit organization called My Brother’s Keeper, which deals with furniture donations.
The deceased woman was identified as Jean Revil, a 67-year-old from Dartmouth. The injured man, a 64-year-old from Bristol, Rhode Island, and the driver, a 25-year-old from Taunton, Massachusetts, have not been publicly named. The tragic incident occurred at a residence on Joseph Drive around noon, involving six individuals from My Brother’s Keeper.
The man remains in critical but stable condition at New Bedford’s Saint Luke’s Hospital as of Thursday morning. Authorities are conducting an investigation, and it is unclear if charges will be filed.
