Jed M. Unruh Obituary, Death – A tragic event transpired late Thursday night in Stark County, Ohio, leading to the untimely death of 19-year-old Jed M. Unruh from Minerva. Unruh was operating a 2024 Kawasaki motorcycle southbound on Route 183 when he was unable to successfully navigate a curve, resulting in him veering off the right side of the road at approximately 11:36 p.m. According to the Canton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Unruh collided with a tree after leaving the roadway.
Although he was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident, Unruh sustained critical injuries and was transported to Aultman Hospital, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have indicated that there was no involvement of alcohol or drugs in the incident.
Emergency personnel from Washington Township Fire and EMS responded promptly to the scene to render aid. The community is in mourning over the loss of this young individual, and our condolences extend to Unruh’s family and friends during this challenging period.
