Jeff K. Tumia Obituary, Death – The motorcyclist who tragically lost his life in a crash in Chili over the weekend has been identified by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. Jeff K. Tumia, aged 49 and a resident of Scottsville, was involved in the fatal accident that took place at approximately 8:10 p.m. on Saturday on Beahan Road.
Reports from deputies indicate that Tumia was heading east on Beahan Road when he lost control of his motorcycle, crossed into the westbound lane, and collided with a guide rail. The impact caused him to be ejected from the motorcycle. Despite the efforts of EMS workers to save him, Tumia succumbed to his injuries.
Deputy Brendan Hurley expressed condolences, stating, “Our hearts go out to his loved ones and friends during this challenging period.”
