Jessica Lyman Obituary, Death – A mother from Saratoga Springs, who was critically injured in a shooting that claimed the life of her 8-year-old son, has passed away.
The Saratoga Springs Police Department confirmed on Thursday that Jessica Lyman, 44, succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. The tragic incident occurred on Friday, March 28, when officers were called to a scene on North Willowbrook Lane. Upon arrival, they found Lyman and her son, Eli Painter, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Eli, the 8-year-old, was pronounced dead at the scene. Jessica Lyman, in critical condition, was transported by medical helicopter to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, despite efforts to save her, she passed away from her injuries.
