Jessie Dorce Obituary, Death – Authorities in Tampa are investigating a deadly quadruple shooting that occurred on Tuesday afternoon, which claimed the life of one man and left three others injured.
The Tampa Police Department identified the deceased victim as 32-year-old Jessie Dorce. Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 12:40 p.m. on February 18 in the vicinity of East 28th Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered four men suffering from gunshot wounds.
Dorce was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The three other victims, all in their late 20s to early 30s, were also hospitalized, though their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
Investigators believe the attack was targeted, though as of Wednesday, they had not identified or apprehended a suspect. Authorities are reviewing surveillance footage and speaking with witnesses to piece together what led to the shooting.
