Jose Munoz, Moses Rogers Obituary, Death – On Friday night, three men lost their lives in what appears to be a murder-suicide at a townhouse complex in Woodridge. Authorities received a call regarding gunfire at a residence situated at 3562 83rd Street at approximately 8:56 p.m.
Witnesses reported hearing nine or ten shots before observing police officers converge on the townhouse complex. Upon arrival, officers discovered the bodies of three men, which they have classified as a double murder-suicide.
The deceased individuals have been identified as Jose Munoz, 36, from Romeoville, Moses Rogers, 29, from Woodridge, and Terrence Suggs-Nichols, 35, from Rowlette, Texas. A woman managed to flee the scene with children, although the exact number of children present during the incident remains unclear.
Additionally, police located another male victim who was found hiding in a hallway. He was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries and has since been discharged. One neighbor described the scene as chaotic, stating that residents were in a state of panic.
“We just saw the coroner. We saw people leave in body bags. It was very traumatizing to everyone,” remarked a neighbor.
The investigation is ongoing.
