Jose Ocasio Obituary, Death – A fatal collision occurred in Wrentham on Friday involving a man from Mansfield. The authorities were called to the scene of a two-vehicle accident on Route 1 just after 5:30 p.m. According to investigators, a 2014 Mercedes CLA sedan was heading north and made a sudden U-turn from the center travel lane.
The other vehicle, traveling in the far left lane, collided with the driver’s side of the Mercedes. The driver of the Mercedes, identified as 50-year-old Jose Ocasio, sustained severe injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Fortunately, the driver of the second vehicle did not sustain any injuries. The two left lanes heading north in the vicinity were closed for two and a half hours as a result of the crash.
The incident is currently being investigated by the authorities.
