Joseph R. Miller Obituary, Death – A fatal head-on collision in Montgomery County on Thursday night claimed the life of a 28-year-old man, Alabama State Troopers confirmed.
Authorities identified the victim as Joseph R. Miller, a Montgomery resident. The crash occurred at approximately 6:50 p.m. on Alabama 126, roughly two miles east of Montgomery.
According to ALEA Lt. Jeremy Burkett, Miller was driving a Dodge Charger when it collided head-on with a Mercedes-Benz GLK 350. The other vehicle was driven by 20-year-old Matthew Neely from North Carolina.
Emergency responders pronounced Miller dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by state troopers.
