Joseph Rudloff Obituary, Death – Authorities have identified a Norfolk man as the pilot killed in a plane crash in northeast Nebraska on Monday. The Nebraska State Patrol reported that the first crash occurred around 9:30 a.m. in Knox County, approximately four miles southwest of Crofton.
When first responders, including state troopers and Knox County deputies, arrived at the scene, they found the pilot, who was pronounced dead. The pilot, identified as 73-year-old Joseph Rudloff, was the only person on board the aircraft.
Later that same morning, a second plane crash was reported near Wayne, Nebraska. Details about the second crash, including the number of people on board, have not been disclosed. The Nebraska State Patrol stated that more information about this crash would be released once it becomes available.
Both crashes are currently under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).
