Joshua Casto Obituary, Death – Authorities have confirmed the identity of an individual who lost his life in a motorized scooter accident on I-64 in the early hours of Saturday. As reported by the Dunbar Police, 27-year-old Joshua Casto from Jackson County was fatally injured when his Vespa Scooter collided near the 52 mile-marker on I-64 West.
According to Metro 911 dispatchers, the incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. on Saturday, August 10. Officers from the Dunbar Police Department noted that the scooter was not equipped with lights and was traveling at a speed 20 miles per hour below the posted limit at the time of the accident.
