The incident took place at approximately 5:03 p.m. on San Justo Road, located east of San Juan Highway. According to CHP, the vehicle lost control while traveling east, crossed over into oncoming lanes, veered off the highway, and eventually overturned in a nearby dirt field.
The crash tragically resulted in the death of the front-right passenger. The driver and the left-rear passenger, both sustaining suspected serious injuries, were airlifted by helicopter to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
