Julie Ochoa Obituary, Death – The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred in San Benito County on Monday evening. The incident took place at approximately 5:03 p.m. on San Justo Road, located east of San Juan Highway. According to CHP, the vehicle lost control while traveling east, crossed over into oncoming lanes, veered off the highway, and eventually overturned in a nearby dirt field.
The crash tragically resulted in the death of the front-right passenger. The driver and the left-rear passenger, both sustaining suspected serious injuries, were airlifted by helicopter to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The victim who lost her life in the crash has been identified as 18-year-old Julie Ochoa, a resident of Merced, according to the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office. Her family and friends are left devastated by the loss, as the community mourns the tragic accident.
As of now, authorities have not determined whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. CHP continues to investigate the incident, working to gather more information and confirm any contributing factors that may have led to the tragic event.
