Kaitlynn Lee Obituary, Death – Authorities in New Albany reported that a woman was discovered deceased from a gunshot wound on Saturday. The New Albany Police received a call at approximately 5 a.m. regarding an incident at 131 Village Drive, the location of an apartment complex. Upon arrival, officers located a woman suffering from a gunshot injury, later identified as 25-year-old Kaitlynn Lee.
The coroner confirmed her death at UofL Hospital at 5:44 a.m. Subsequently, 25-year-old Joshua Thompson was apprehended and charged with murder. Law enforcement officials stated that there are no other suspects involved and that there is no ongoing threat to public safety. The investigation into the incident is still active.
