Kelly Lynn Caldwell Obituary, Death – Tragic wrong-way collision on Routes 5/15 in Hartford claimed the life of 23-year-old Kelly Lynn Caldwell of Vernon, state police reported. The incident occurred late Thursday night, around 11:15 p.m., just south of exit 90.
Authorities said Caldwell was driving northbound in the southbound lanes for reasons that remain unclear. Her vehicle collided with a southbound car driven by a woman from East Hartford, who sustained minor injuries in the crash. Caldwell was transported to Hartford Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The crash is still under investigation, and police are urging anyone with information to contact them at 860-534-1098.
