Keman S. Greenidge Obituary, Death – Authorities have announced an investigation into the eleventh homicide in Killeen, resulting in the death of a 19-year-old male. On August 4, at approximately 7:27 p.m., law enforcement officers responded to reports of a shooting incident in the 400 block of Gemini Lane.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered a 19-year-old male, later identified as Keman S. Greenidge, who had sustained a gunshot wound. The police initiated life-saving efforts until paramedics arrived, after which Greenidge was transported by air to Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple.
At the hospital, Greenidge unfortunately succumbed to his injuries and was declared deceased by Justice of the Peace Keith Reed at 10:28 p.m.
Investigators have identified a person of interest connected to the victim.
The Killeen Police Department has stated that there is currently no threat to the community; however, they encourage anyone with information regarding this homicide to reach out to the Bell County Crime Stoppers.
