Kiera Massenburg Obituary, Death News – A 6-year-old child is currently in critical condition, and her mother has lost her life following a domestic violence incident that affected two counties on Sunday morning. According to law enforcement officials, Daquan Marcato Jones, 32, from Rocky Mount, shot four individuals – a mother, her child, another woman, and a man – shortly before dawn at a residence located on Weavers Circle in Sharpsburg.
Family members have identified the deceased mother as 27-year-old Kiera Massenburg.
At approximately 5 a.m. on Sunday, deputies from the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office and officers from the Sharpsburg Police Department responded to a call at the residence in Sharpsburg. Upon arrival, they discovered a man and a woman, both suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were subsequently transported to Vidant Hospital for medical treatment.
