Kristen Pratt Obituary, Death News – A tragic crash involving a charter bus in Tulsa late Sunday night resulted in the death of a Sand Springs woman, authorities confirmed.
According to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) collision report, the accident occurred around 11:40 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 244 near North Memorial Drive. A 2016 Nissan Rogue and a charter bus collided, leading to the fatality of the Rogue’s driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials later identified the victim as 39-year-old Kristen Pratt of Sand Springs. Fortunately, none of the 38 people aboard the charter bus, which was traveling from Iowa, sustained any injuries.
While OHP continues to investigate the circumstances of the crash, Tulsa news station KJRH reported that the Nissan Rogue was allegedly traveling the wrong way on I-244 before colliding with the bus. The passengers on the bus reportedly included wrestlers and their families who were traveling for the Big 12 Wrestling Championship.
Authorities are still working to determine the exact cause of the collision.
