Lamont Curtis Obituary, Death – A man who was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash on Indianapolis’ north side last month has died from his injuries, authorities confirmed.
The Marion County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 43-year-old Lamont Curtis. Curtis was pronounced dead at IU Health Methodist Hospital on Saturday, Feb. 15, nearly three weeks after the crash.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers were called to the 6300 block of North Keystone Avenue around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, in response to a reported hit-and-run accident. Upon arrival, officers discovered Curtis lying in the roadway with severe injuries. Emergency responders transported him to the hospital in critical condition.

Following weeks of medical care, Curtis succumbed to his injuries. Authorities continue to investigate the case, urging anyone with information to contact the IMPD or provide anonymous tips through Crime Stoppers at (317) 262-TIPS (8477).
