Laura M. Miller Obituary, Death – The Allen County Coroner’s Office has officially confirmed the identity of the passenger who lost her life in the tragic accident that occurred on Wednesday at the Kroger on Dupont Road. According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, the incident took place at approximately 2:30 p.m. when an elderly man driving a vehicle collided with the ‘Marketplace’ section of the grocery store, resulting in injuries to both himself and his passenger.
The passenger, a 91-year-old woman from Fort Wayne, was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival. The driver sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.
On Friday, the Allen County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased passenger as Laura M. Miller.
Her death has been classified as an accident, marking the 23rd traffic-related fatality in Allen County for the year 2024.
