Lynette Johnson Obituary, Death – Gallatin County Sheriff and Coroner Dan Springer has identified the victim of a tragic accident that occurred on Friday involving an SUV and a pedestrian near South Third Avenue and Longohr Avenue.
The victim, Lynette Johnson, a 60-year-old resident of Bozeman, was declared dead at the scene. Johnson was reportedly walking her dog on the sidewalk when a vehicle veered off the road and struck her. Following the collision, the vehicle continued through a fence and into a nearby home, which resulted in damage to a gas line. This incident led to the evacuation of the block.
Sheriff Springer has extended his heartfelt condolences to Johnson’s family and friends. The accident is currently under investigation.
