Marcus L. Johnson, Charles A. Williams Jr Obituary, Death – Authorities reported on Sunday that two individuals were fatally shot at a raceway in Iowa just before the commencement of a concert. The incident occurred on Saturday evening at the I-29 Speedway located in Pacific Junction, approximately 20 miles south of Omaha, Nebraska. As an outdoor concert was set to begin, gunfire erupted in the parking lot, according to a press release from the Iowa Department of Public Safety.
The deceased have been identified as Marcus L. Johnson, aged 28, and Charles A. Williams Jr., aged 27, both residents of Omaha, Nebraska. The Mills County Sheriff’s Office is receiving support from the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, the Iowa State Patrol, the Omaha Police Department, and various other law enforcement agencies.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the shooting to reach out to the Mills County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation remains active.
