Marvin Wicker Obituary, Death – A 60-year-old man has unfortunately lost his life following a dispute that escalated into a fatal shooting in North Philadelphia. According to police reports, the incident took place at 3400 Goodman Street at 2:51 a.m. on August 5, where Marvin Wicker, a 60-year-old African American male, was discovered with two gunshot wounds to the abdomen and one to the right leg.
Emergency medical personnel transported Wicker to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:22 a.m. Currently, the Homicide Detective Division has not made any arrests or recovered a firearm; however, three 9mm shell casings were located at the scene.
The Philadelphia Police Department is offering a reward of $20,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. Individuals with relevant information are encouraged to contact the Homicide Detectives at 215-686-3334.
